Pacificon Report: Santa Clara California

We attended this year's PACIFICON in Santa Clara California over Labor Day Weekend. We have been coming to this convention since 1989 and truly enjoy it.

On the schedule for us was our PANZER KORPS 2.0 scenario FALAISE MALAISE 1944 where we find the German 7th Army attempting to escape the cauldron on death! We will post the scenario today on our PANZER KORPS forum on this site. The game was in 20mm on Friday to introduce new players and veteran players alike. The event was well attended. The Germans were hot to save their skins as the Canadians, Poles and Americans were closing in! We will write up an AAR on the battle, but here are a few photos of the action.

The second game hosted by HR GAMES as the Battle of Ghent 1323 using our soon to be released medieval Grand battle rules BROADSWORD: AGE OF CHIVALRY. The system focus is on large battles from 1066 thru 1492. A very popular game, the Battle of Ghent featured a force under the command of the Margrave of Nuremburg against the Archbishop's force in an attempt to collect the tithe. Watch for the rules system to be released later this month!

Our next Convention is VETCON and it will be in Auburn, California Nov. 10th-12th, 2022. We will host the Assault on Torreon 1914 using our EAGLE'S PREY: VILLA RIDES rules supplement for the Mexican Revolution in 28mm. This scenario will feature one of the largest battles featuring Pancho Villa's Northern Division with over 20,000 combatants! We will also feature the Battle for Tucson Presidio 1780 in 28mm using our system TERRA INCOGNITA company level rules as well as ANGRIEF! OVER THE TOP 1918 scenario featuring our Panzer Korps WWI supplement TRENCHLINE in 10mm.
